Alpecin-Premier Tech continues to shape its roster for the coming seasons, welcoming two new riders while also securing the services of a familiar face. Belgian youngster Michiel Lambrecht and Denmark's Morten Nørtøft will join the team in 2027, while Austrian national champion Michael Gogl will remain with Alpecin-Premier Tech for a sixth consecutive season.

Michael Gogl continues for a sixth season

Michael Gogl will remain part of Alpecin-Premier Tech in 2027. The experienced Austrian is preparing for his sixth season in our colours, this time with the added honour of wearing his national champion's jersey.

"I'm really motivated to continue with Alpecin-Premier Tech for what will already be my sixth season with the team," says Gogl. “Wearing the Austrian champion's jersey makes it even more special and gives me extra motivation to work hard and contribute to our goals. I'm really looking forward to another season together.”

Michiel Lambrecht joins on a three-year agreement

Belgian rider Michiel Lambrecht will join the Alpecin-Premier Tech Development Team in 2027 before moving up to the WorldTeam for the 2028 and 2029 seasons. After seeing his previous two teams disappear, Lambrecht is particularly pleased to have secured his future with Alpecin-Premier Tech and is eager to make the most of the opportunity.

“After seeing my last two teams disappear, I'm very grateful to have found a new home. As a cyclist, you're always looking for that perfect connection between your bike, your legs and your team. I'm incredibly proud to join such a successful team, but above all, I'm grateful for the confidence they have shown in my potential. I'm determined to make the most of this chance and prove that both the team and I have made the right choice.”

Morten Nørtøft steps up to the WorldTour

Danish rider Morten Nørtøft will make the step up to the highest level of professional cycling with Alpecin-Premier Tech, signing a two-year contract covering the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

For Nørtøft, the move marks the culmination of six years of hard work at Continental level and the beginning of a new chapter in his career. "This move means a lot to me. I've been working towards this moment for the past six years at Continental level, so finally taking this step feels incredible. It's a big milestone in my career, and I can't wait to join Alpecin-Premier Tech and test myself against the best riders in the world."
