Guus van den Eijnden will remain part of the Alpecin-Premier Tech structure for the next three years, continuing along a clear pathway towards the WorldTour.

The 20-year-old Dutchman will spend one more season with the Alpecin-Premier Tech Development Team in 2027, before stepping up to the WorldTeam for the 2028 and 2029 seasons. Throughout this journey, Van den Eijnden will continue to combine road racing with cyclocross. During the winter months, he will keep representing Seven Racing, allowing him to further develop in both disciplines.

For Van den Eijnden, the new agreement is the continuation of a long-term plan mapped out together with the team.

“I’m really happy with the trust the team has shown in me, and I fully believe in the pathway we have set out together. The combination of road and cyclocross is perfectly supported here, which gives me the opportunity to keep developing in both disciplines. I really feel at home in this environment and I’m confident that I can continue to take important steps here over the coming years.”

With another year at Development Team level followed by two seasons in the WorldTeam, both Van den Eijnden and the team can continue working step by step towards the next stage of his career.
