There is a special Morkhoven connection to our latest signing. Alpecin-Premier Tech welcomes Vincent Van Hemelen to the team on a two-year contract covering the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

The 25-year-old Belgian grew up in Morkhoven, the home soil of Alpecin-Premier Tech, and has seen the team develop from close by over the years. From 2027 onwards, he will become part of it himself.

Van Hemelen joins the team after two seasons with Team Flanders-Baloise. He will strengthen the squad with his versatility and will combine a supporting role with the ambition to continue developing himself at the highest level.

Vincent Van Hemelen: “Growing up in Morkhoven, the home soil of Alpecin-Premier Tech, I’ve seen the team develop from close by, so it feels really special to now become part of it myself. I’m looking forward to helping the team wherever I can, while also continuing to develop as a rider.”

Van Hemelen will join Alpecin-Premier Tech from January 1, 2027, on a contract through the end of 2028.
